After 38 years at sea, becoming Master at the tender age of 30, Bob Clark came ashore in 2003. Despite his experience mostly on an eclectic range of tankers from 6,000mt to 180,000mt deadweight, he has also served aboard bulk, timber, refrigerated and special carrier trades. His last command was on a 40,000 mt deadweight product tanker.
Ashore, Bob's First employment was as Marine Safety Manager to a fleet of coastal tankers, including the role of Company Security Officer under the new ISPS regulations. He was then promoted to Senior Management level as Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Manager in 2006.
Bob brings this wealth of experience to our team having completed the OCIMF Accreditation process to become a Category 1 inspector for all types of vessel.
