After 38 years at sea and becoming Master at the tender age of 30, ‘Bob’ Clark came ashore in 2003. Beside his experience on a variety of tankers from 6,000mt to 180,000mt deadweight, he has also served aboard bulk carriers, timber ships, refrigerated and special carrier. His last command was on a 40,000 DWT product tanker.
Ashore, Bob's 1st employment was as Marine Safety Manager for a fleet of coastal tankers, including the role of Company Security Officer under the new ISPS regulations. He was then promoted to Senior Management level as Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Manager in 2006.
Bob brings this wealth of experience to our team having completed the OCIMF SITRE accreditation process to become a Category 1 inspector for all types of vessel.
