David Styles is a British Master Mariner with 6 years command experience on a variety of tankers. Following his sea-going career, he worked as a port captain and superintendent, training senior personnel and also preparing the company Management Emergency Response & Contingency Plan.
Having qualified in 2002 as an OCIMF SIRE inspector, David is able to inspect any type of vessel. He now works from his UK home or from his other base in South Africa.
A keen yachtsman who, when not inspecting, can be found exploring the coast of his native North Wales, David Styles is the only Duke Austin associate to speak Welsh.
