Boris Bilic ended his 20 year seagoing career in December 1999, after the final 5 years as Master on chemical tankers in the hectic North Eurpoean area.
His first employment ashore was as harbour pilot, serving on all size and type of vessel calling at ports in Istria region.
Accredited as an inspector under the CDI scheme in 2002, he successfully passed through the OCIMF accreditation process in 2009.
