After 20 years at sea, Boris Bilic completed his last 5 years sailing as Master on chemical tankers in the hectic North European area.
Initially he served as a harbour pilot, handling all size and type of vessel calling at ports in Istria region but then decided to use his extensive experience on tankers to become a ship inspector.
Accredited as an inspector under the CDI scheme in 2002, he successfully passed through the OCIMF SIRE Category 1 Inspector accreditation process in 2009. In 2011 Boris passed his ISO 14000 Auditor exam.
Based in the Istria region of Croatia, he able to easy access vessels in the Adriatic region and also further afield in Europe.
